Mental Health Foundation
The Mental Health Foundation uses research and practical projects to help people survive, recover from and prevent mental health problems. We work to influence policy, including government at the highest levels. And we use our knowledge to raise awareness and to help tackle the stigma attached to mental illness. We reach millions of people every year through our media work, information booklets and online services.
Andrew McCulloch, Chief Executive of the Mental Health Foundation says, "We are very excited to be supporting the Be Happy Be Healthy initiative. We know that factors including a good diet, regular exercise and happy relationships all contribute to a person’s happiness. It’s time to educate people up and down the country about the importance of looking after their well being. Increasing numbers of us are seeking help and treatment for mental health problems, and we need to find practical ways of coping with them if not preventing them."
